Women’s Health Programme

3 April 2012

The Women’s Health Programme aims to address topics which are especially important to physicians who take care of women’s health issues. As many of the problems are overlooked, it is important to discuss them as many steps can be taken to prevent these killing diseases. For example, obesity is a major problem that affects 38% of the female population; as such physicians need to recognize disorders such as metabolic syndrome and diabetes. All the topics included in the program are common disorders affecting women in this region and it is a great event to attend for those GPs and physicians who regularly deal with female patients.
